About Me

Hi, I'm Alex Pappas. I grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains, living, breathing, and playing amongst the redwoods. I've traveled the world, and spent nearly a decade in Brazil, only to be called back to these ancient ecosystems in the hopes to share their wisdom with others. My own personal journey has taught me how deeply our sense of wellbeing is connected to nature. Through 20 years of yoga and meditation practice, along with my passions for neuro-linguistic coaching and psychology, I've discovered how this unique approach to forest immersion can restore balance and presence in the midst of our fast paced modern world. I believe that when we connect with nature we not only heal ourselves and our relationships, but we also develop a deeper appreciation for our interconnection with these natural, vital ecosystems.

I would be pleased to meet you and guide you mindfully through the redwood forest of Santa Cruz.

"When I am among the trees, they give off such hints of gladness. I would almost say that they save me, and daily."

My Approach

My mission is to share my love for these old-growth redwood forests with others, by showing people a tangible, accessible way to reconnect with nature.

I believe that a powerful way to preserve this precious biosphere is to show through experience that forming a reciprocal relationship with nature is crucial to living a full, healthy human life.

Weaving this together with my years of studies in psychology, Iyengar yoga and meditation, I guide guests towards a sense of purpose, presence, and inner-peace.
